Introduction to Error Code 80092023 

This 8009xxxx series number is outside my normal range of error codes.

However, a reader kindly sent in an instance where they produced this error message when they were trying to install a key for a certificate.

Probable cause

A character like : �, � or �’

or even a – (dash) , (comma) or ; (semi-colon)’

Scenario

You are installing a key for a certificate.
